In scripture, [the term] fool is often used for a wicked or depraved person; one who acts contrary to sound wisdom in his moral deportment; one who follows his own inclinations, who prefers trifling and temporary pleasures to the service of God and eternal happiness. Webster Dictionary – 1828
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. Psa 14:1.
Some people fail to understand their wicked condition by believing that there are other Gods. Or they believe that they may even have opportunity to become a god themselves or as an equal to god.
Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isa 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
Hos 13:4 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
Don’t you be saying that there are several ways to heaven or that the ways to God are through various religions. It is false thought, wrong and the way of the fool. Don’t make April fools day a year around event. In fact don’t even play the fool today.
